SmApper’s product enables real-time file level management that is highly scalable and available. Designed to be transparent to users, application, utilities and processes, the data management platform does not disrupt the IT environment or normal filer operation. Simultaneous CIFS/NFS file access is supported for multi-OS environments. The product includes the data management platform as well as a set of real time analysis reports that can be used for assessments, diagnostics and forecasting. Customers use the product first for HSM and then expand into other areas of file-based storage management. Typical customers save over 40% of the cost of their storage with their first migration project.

For Service Providers, SmApper enables and grows cloud based services via one of the industry’s only intelligent mechanisms for moving files between the client and the service provider.
